Notices for Remembrance Sunday Service 2018

The parade will muster in Hare Hill Park from 10.00 a.m. And will set off to the memorial at 10.30 a.m.

Please can we remind you that it will be cold and to dress accordingly

During the parade and service the A58 will remain closed, additionally Peel Street will remain closed throughout the service.

The service will begin promptly at 10.55 a.m.

During the service there will be a First Aid Station at The Boxing Club, and Marshalls in high-visibility jackets will be around to assist.

If anyone would like to place a token of remembrance, please feel free to do so after the service.

The A58 will be re-opened immediately after the parade has left the square.  It is therefore important that if you are not part of the parade that you find a place on the pavement or within the square to remain safe.

After the service refreshments will be served in both Holy Trinity Church and at Hare Hill Park.

At 12.30 p.m. Holy Trinity will hold a service of Holy Communion as we continue to commemorate the 100th Anniversary, during which we will read the names of all our local soldiers, and you are most welcome to join us.
